Though Tendril has gone through a series of layoffs, the company has a solid 160 employees, with four offices in the U.S. and one in Australia. With the energy management sector on the rise, Tendril is positioning itself to be a leader in the next phase of energy management: automation.


New Wind Power System Claims 70% Increase in Wind Speeds,Triple the Power Output
Mass Megawatts Wind Power, of Worcester, MA, is taking a different approach to low wind speed power generation with multi-axis turbines that increase the wind speed at the turbines and triple power output. The development came from  combining the company’s Multi-Axis Turbo system (MAT) and MMW Augmenter into a fairly simple and inexpensive wind-focusing device.


In conjunction with Green Mountain Energy’s 15-year anniversary they released an infograph that illustrates some interesting points on advancements in renewable energy over the last decade and a half. For example, there are currently 96,000 electric vehicles on the road, compared to 4,400 in 1997.
