Webinar Briefing: USDA availability of 2012 funding for renewable energy projects

USDA Rural Development has formally announced that the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant program will have a fiscal year 2012 application deadline of MARCH 30, 2012. This is the earliest date that they have put out in recent years and a fairly short timeframe to complete applications. The deadline for guaranteed loans is JUNE 29, 2012.
  
In our upcoming webinar, members Willis and Ag Visions will discuss the USDA REAP program and opportunities that are available to support wind, solar, biomass and geothermal projects. Our panel of experts will cover several topics, including:

• deadlines and funding available under the 2012 REAP program;
• creatively using REAP grants and guaranteed loans to support projects;
• overview of information needed for applications.

After a short presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions with the ultimate goal of encouraging a coordinated, strategic, and targeted approach to utilizing the REAP program to facilitate renewable energy project financing.
