Renewables: The once and future energy source
There was a time when renewable energy was the best option available, moving in to a social statement, and currently becoming the mainstream. Today’s renewable technologies are rooted in years of research and experimentation.

General Motors & Chrysler both will release trucks that can run on both gasoline and compressed natural gas. Consumer demand, prices at the pump, and the renewed focus on natural gas are all factors that car and truck makers can’t ignore.

Four new companies join the DOE’s National Clean Fleets Partnership (NCFP), which assists the nation's largest fleet operators in reducing the amount of gasoline and diesel they use nationwide. The new companies joined a group of 14 existing companies bringing the NCFP to 18 – the group in total accounts for 12% of the nation’s commercial vehicles on the road.
