White Paper on Benefits of Mass Deployment of Distributed Energy Storage (DES)

The National Alliance for Advanced Technology Batteries recently issued a white paper on “the benefits that would result from widespread deployment of distributed energy storage (DES) systems.” The 47-page document describes a number of benefits related to system regulation, integration of distributed renewable power generation, mitigation of the impact of power disruptions, transmission and distribution project deferral, and the manufacture electric vehicles.

GE’s WattSation EV Charger Gets Connected

GE has just introduced a new user-friendly electric vehicle charging platform - the WattStation and WattStation Connect Software.
