BMW & Real Goods Solar Team Up: 35% off Solar for Electronauts
BMW and Real Goods Solar have partnered and will be offering BMW ActiveE drivers (aka Electronauts) approximately 35% off a solar installation contract. An offer hard to pass up will include design, installation and monitoring of a turn-key solar solution to all ActiveE customers in California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York.

The National Alliance for Advanced Technology Batteries recently issued a white paper on “the benefits that would result from widespread deployment of distributed energy storage (DES) systems.” The 47-page document describes a number of benefits related to system regulation, integration of distributed renewable power generation, mitigation of the impact of power disruptions, transmission and distribution project deferral, and the manufacture electric vehicles.

GE has just introduced a new user-friendly electric vehicle charging platform - the WattStation and WattStation Connect Software. WattStation has actually been around for a couple of years, but the charger’s new platform will give owners the means to manage, monitor and maintain their EV charging network.
