Renewable Electricity Generation up Considerably in Most US States
With wind as the largest driver of this increase across all states, non-hydroelectric renewable generation has increased in many states over the past decade.  More than half of all states have Renewable Portfolio Standards in place to promote generation from renewable sources and federal production tax credits and grants also contributed to increases.

Temporary reinstatement of a low-carbon fuel standard program was awarded to the state of California that previously blocked by a federal judge last year. The reinstatement will allow the Air Resources Board to continue implementation and resume enforcement of an important program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Greentech Media reports on some movement in green jobs and highlights the news that the DOE has retained investment bank Houlihan Lokey to monitor Fisker's capital-raising campaign. Fisker has sold about 800 units of the $103,000 vehicle and has drawn down $190 million of DOE loan guarantees but has failed to meet all of the requirements of the DOE loan terms.
