Odd deterioration found in both San Onofre reactors
Reports from energy officials have just come in that indicate that both tubes at the San Onofre reactors are experiencing unusually fast deterioration. Initial reports indicated that only one of the tubes was having wear issues.

Green Job Openings Surge, Sector Tracker Reports

Data and figures from green jobs have only been tracked in recent years. In 2010, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that there were 3.1 million green jobs in the US. Now the Green Job Bank is reporting a major increase in the number of US-based green job openings - 36,500 green jobs posted during the latest quarter, that is double than in the first quarter of 2011.

Richard Yemm, the inventor of an iconic wave energy device has been honored for his contribution to the marine renewables sector. Yemm is the founder of Pelamis Wave Power, the successful company that makes giant wave machines that sit semi-submerged in the ocean.
