New white paper showcases learnings from Water Innovation Summit
The Cleantech Group released a new report on the utility perspective on innovation, smart water networks, financing innovation, sustainable water management in the oil and gas sector, opportunities in water and agriculture, and securing clean water for industries. The report was released after The Water Innovation Summit, the Cleantech Group’s ongoing effort to support the water technology community.

Strategic Investor To Green Tech Startups: Get A Grip
Dow Chemical’s chief technology officer William Banholzer spoke at the EmTech conference at MIT this week and expressed his view that the core problem with green tech startups is that many entrepreneurs and VCs believed they could replicate the innovation funding model of IT in the field of energy. He went on to say that venture capitalists are still investing in ambitious green tech companies specifically ones that analyze data to make buildings or the grid more energy.
