Rising Demand Is Giving Biogas a Big Lift
The demand for biogas has increased due to the high cost of natural gas to power fuel cells. Pike Research highlights this trend in a new report. Biogas has reached $17.3 billion in revenue in 2011 and is on track to double by 2022.

A U.S. Department of Energy report confirms that LEDs are the most environmentally-friendly light bulb on the market. The LED is able to reduce home lighting costs and create a safer manufacturing process. Though despite the benefits, LEDs have yet to go mainstream due to the higher price point. But moving away from package efficiency and toward technological innovation could help reduce the cost of LEDs in half within the next 8 years.

BP Capital's T. Boone Pickens talks about U.S. energy resources and using natural gas to fuel heavy duty trucks. He goes on to say that the government needs to take leadership and put policies in place to ensure the future of natural gas.
