Congratulations, Dr. Samuelsen!

Professor Scott Samuelsen, Director of UC Irvine’s National Fuel Cell Research Center, was recognized at the White House on Thursday for his leadership in advancing hydrogen fuel cell technology and hydrogen infrastructure. The event was part of President Obama’s Champions of Change initiative, which promotes creative collaboration across a variety of industries to produce high-quality jobs in America.

“The best ideas in the world come from the American people,” said Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to President Obama. “Our country’s success is built on the fact that working together we can do big things.” Professor Samuelsen is indeed doing very big things.
